MY, MY, It's been a long time!!!

Well, I'm sure that all of you think that I have lost the will to blog! Well not the will but the time!! Quick update...Angel baby is turning 7 months in a week, and my son is 32 months old today!!! Wow they are getting older!! I have learned so many things from the two of them. One big thing is that I thought that I was a pretty patient person!! Well, they have proven me wrong in some sense. Well, angel baby does not roll or crawl, she refuses to lay down. She finds that she loves to sit!!! goodness knows that she was blessed with a beautiful head full of black hair since birth, but she just really discovered it yesterday!! probably because her 9 month old cousin pulled it quite hard!! I recently started babysitting her 3 days a week!! Apparently her babysitter decided to go crazy on her. She called her up one day and said that she could not take care of her the next day because she did not know what she was going to do with "r" that day. Meaning she did not know what she might do to her... DISTURBING I KNOW!! I literally got a chill when she told me that. About a month ago a 4 month old baby was killed by its babysitter around this area. So that really frightened her. So she called me!! So, if anyone has any ideas on how to handle a 6mo old, a 9mo old, and a 32 month old please let me know!! So far it is rough but manageable!! Anyways, I am doing great and looking forward to Christmas!! All my son wants from Santa is some safety scissors. How cute!! Of course Angel baby does not know the difference but she is getting pretty earrings!!

I am glad that Farmwife's family member is doing better!! Tell QM I said hello!!

FINALLY THE NEWS IS HEAR!!

Angel Baby's dr finally called with the news of her test results!! They are exactly what we expected...she is going to be just fine. In fact, we go back in Dec and she hopes that she will be taking her off her medicine to see if she has anymore problems and if she does not which is what we expect then we won't have to do anything anymore. If she does then more tests. The dr, I believe, thinks that she just had benign infant seizures which means that they just go away!! So until then, she has to continue taking that nasty medicine!!

Everything else is great!! Little man is POTTY TRAINED!!!! He is only 28 months!! I think that is great!! What made him do it, is that he can go pee like daddy!! (stand up) Well, he does have a few accidents when he sleeps so we put pull ups on him then!! Angel baby is getting bigger. She weighs 12 lbs!! And is super long. She is in 6-9 month clothes!!!

Gotta go she needs a diaper change!!

hello everyone!!

we are still in the hospital but a friend let me borrow their laptop!!
well we found out what causes angel baby to have apnea!! It is because she has what they call apnic seizures. she is currently getting meds by mouth for that. knock on wood she has not had a spell in 12hrs!! so they might move us out of the PICU tomorrow. we will have to see how the night goes. now they are just trying to figure out what is causing her seizures. everyone please pray real hard for her. their are some disorders that they are testing for that are pretty serious disorders. so we are hoping that comes back neg!!! well she is breathing on her own and is finally able to nurse again. she decided to pull her own feeding tube out yesterday!! she is pretty strong. well, this is just unfortunately a wait and see situation. i will prob be up here with her this whole week!! good news for me though!! my pathology tests came back negative so the cancer is gone!! we pray that it will stay away!! i will try to update this week!!!

Angel Baby is Here!!!!

Our little angel baby is here. As everyone knows, she is 3 wks early. But to some shocker, she still weighed 7lbs and 5oz and 20in long!! I know, when they told me that I was shocked!! I did great through the whole procedure. They gave me a spinal/epidural block. There plan was to do that during the csection and then when they started the other half of the surgery, they would just do a general and put me under. Well, they got done with the csection and my husband went with her. I got to here her cry and he got to cut the rest of the cord at her bedside. Then they said that it would only take another 30 min-45 to do the rest. I opted to stay awake during the rest of the surgery as long as I felt good. It was very weird. You just feel a lot of tugging and stretching and pressure. I really did not feel anything except for when they were stapling me back up at the top. It was wearing off. So he just dosed me up again and they were done. The residents had to keep reminding the doc that the patient is awake. He said a few choice words when he was trying the grab one of the organs. I think that it is so funny because you always wonder what goes on in the surgery room. they even have music playing the whole time. When I went in, Aerosmith was blasting, then it ended with some country song I believe!! Anways, it was an experience that I will never forget!!

I was great until I started feeling really bad pains in my chest. I thought it was gas. We were all getting mad because they weren't wanting to treat it as such. They thought about a blood clot in my lungs so they ran a ct scan. It came back with a possiblity and then later negative. My blood count was low, even when I left the hospital. I am taking iron for that. My arms look like I have been beaten. I have bruises all over. I was probably stuck over 20 times in the course of 4days. My fingers are still tingly and numb and I am still swollen a little in my legs and on my left side!!

All in all, I am doing pretty good. Baby is nursing great and all the time. We are getting some sleep at night so that is great too!!! Well, I have to go, the angel baby is wanting mommy milk!!

I'm home and still pregnant!!

My Dr sent me home only to have modified bedrest for the next week and a half! Well, they did a 24hr urine on me. They found some protein. However, I had more urine output than the average person, so my doc said that he knows I am atleast not retaining the fluid that I take in!! So, I have to take my blood pressure several times a day and stay on the couch as much as I can with a 2yr old at home!! He is pretty good though. He has known for a while that mommy can't run around and play right now!!So, the csection is still scheduled for the 21st. Unless of course my blood pressure spikes to 160/110. I did have one spike when I was in the hospital. But for know, me and angel baby are safe and healthy!! She was good during everything. Her heartrate is perfect!! Anyways, I had to get to the computer for just a minute and then back in bed!! I will try and keep posted as long as my body lets me come down to use the computer!!

Rainy Days, 2 weeks, parties!!

Can I just say, I am tired of the rain already. It has been raining for the past 3 days!! Try telling a 2yr old no we can't play outside because it is raining. He says "yaining" Well the past 2 weeks have been rough. My hands and fingers are so swollen that I have carpal tunnel in the right one. The swelling is compressing that nerve. My hands are tingling and two finger tips are numb!! This is not a fun thing. Frequent trips to the bathroom every time that I bend and at night. Oh well, 2 more weeks and 3 days until my sweet angel baby arrives!!! I am so excited!!

Last week my friend from Tennessee came up with her little girl who is 7 months. That was a very good visit but short. She is coming again in June. Also, we walked at the Relay for Life here in town. I got a Survivor shirt and I had to go up with the other survivors and say what kind of cancer I am surviving from!! It is amazing all the people that have cancer in our small community. They are trying to get someone to come in and research this problem. See if there are factors that are making this happen. There was a girl that was a year younger than me that was diagnosed 2 weeks before with the same type of cancer as me but her's was further along. Then it just breaks your heart to see the four children under the age of 5 that have survived cancer!!

On a much happier note, my brother's bridal shower is tomorrow!!It is going to be a full day. We have that from 1-4pm Open House and then the spa that I am doing, and then the bacch. party!! It is a pretty mild one but I am still going to be worn out. The bachelor party is that night too!! This means that Bryce is staying at MIL house for a while then I am picking him up to stay the night with me!!

It's been a long time!!

I don't blog very much. I just really don't no what to say most of the time. Anyways, here it goes. This past weekend was my son's 2nd Birthday. We had a party for him!! He had a lot of fun. He loved his cake that I made for him. Since he is allergic to milk and eggs, I have to make him special things. This being one. The rest of the attendees had cupcakes. He got lots of neat gifts and clothes. His mimi and papa (my mom and dad) got him a swing set. This is still not at our house yet. That all happened on Sat. On Sunday, I had my girly baby shower. It was very nice. My sweet angel baby got lots of clothes and other neat things. I laughed when I read a card from my husband's aunt. "May she always be in style and matching!" She is a hoot!!! I said of course she will be!! Needless to say, she is going to be set from 0-3months!!

Tuesday night my husband was playing with our son. He jumped and when he landed he starting yelling for me and walked as fast as he could to lay flat on the couch. He hurt his back again. This time it was worse. I seriously thought that he might cry!! He would not let me take him to the hospital. So anyways, we iced it and put heat on it. He slept on his back. When he woke up yesterday, he could barely walk. I told him to call the chiropractor. He did and he went and they did tons of treatment on him. She said that he has a pinched nerve and the joint between the inside of his leg and his hip is out of wack!! So he goes back today and tomorrow. Then 3 times next week. By then, she said that he should feel back to his ole' self!! Yesterday, my mom, my son, and I went to my OB dr in St louis. They said that the baby is fine. I might have a bladder infection but they checked that and they are supposed to let me know if I do. I don't feel like it right now!! Otherwise, he said that everything looks great and she is really low in my pelvis. That would explain all of the pain there. I go next week to my other OB dr and she is going to do a growth scan ultrasound. I can't wait. I want to see how much they think she weighs. Other than that, I have been busy finishing the Thank you cards from the shower and making invites to my brother and sis in law's bridal shower. I am kinda in charge of that. I have too much on my plate. I am getting help from my sister though. I will be glad when that is over with. I have washed and put away every piece of clothing and blanket in my sweet angel's room. We are set. Now I am just waiting on my diaper bag so that I can pack it and get it ready for the hospital. If I could ever figure out how to download pics on here, I will include some pics of things that I talk about. If anyone knows how to explain it to me, let me know!!
